You deserve to bloom.

SciGal Collective stems from a love of science. Everyone can be a scientist, but not everyone has access to the same tools to blossom. SciGal aspires to provide women with the resources they need to flower in their field of science.

The Founder.

A SciGal herself, Anya Štajner is a graduate of the University of California, Davis where she received her B.S. in Marine and Coastal Sciences with an emphasis in Organismal Biology and Ecology. She currently attends Scripps Institution of Oceanography where she is pursuing her Ph.D. continually integrating environmental education into her scientific endeavors. In addition to running SciGal, Anya also produces a marine-pop-science podcast called “Wet” and enjoys spending time with her friends and dog, Ginger. Anya also brews Kombucha, so hit her up if you want to trade flavor tips.

The Moral Support.

While she hasn’t contributed much content, Ginger is an integral member of the SciGal family. A study buddy and motivator to all who meets her, Ginger has played a crucial role in making SciGal Collective happen.
